The George Campus Advertising class studying NDIP: Marketing celebrated the tenth advertising showcase on their beautiful campus.

Hartland TV, a new broadcasting network that plans to become the next KYKNET pay channel was the lucky "client" of the advertising group. The class was divided into two groups that each had to brand themselves as a company and each create a print advert, billboard, radio advert, social media page and a 90 second video advert for Hartland TV.

The owner of Hartland TV was impressed with the creativity and quality of the work of the students as they do not receive any formal training in Photoshop or any video editing.

The second year NDIP: Marketing students studying Public Relations this semester assisted with the logistical arrangements of the evening as part of their practical experience in organising an event. Lecturer, Adele Potgieter says she has always believed in joining the theory and practical experience for students in order to create holistic students that are better equipped and ready for the market place when they graduate.

About 150 people including parents, fellow students and industry partners attended the evening.
