The IICE-2015 received 1 675 papers of which only 143 papers were finally accepted for presentation at the conference and publication in the conference proceedings. Two papers were presented by the colleagues of the NMMU Department of Business Management, namely:

Rootman, C., Kruger, J. & Saunders, S.B. 2015. The use of Moodle in financial management: Students' perceptions. Ireland International Conference on Education, Dublin, Ireland, 20 - 22 April 2015.
This was the first time Professor Chantal Rootman and Ms Shelley Saunders attended a purely education conference. This allowed for discussion on new and interesting ideas on what fellow academics in the education field are doing. The conference also allowed networking and new friends were made.
